What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
Been switching up my pre-workout lately and trying to bring back those insane gym pumps. Curious what everyone's using right now. Are you sticking with citrulline, adding glycerol or nitrates or have you found another combo that really hits? Looking for real world suggestions, not just what's trending.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
I've gone back to the basics. Around 8g citrulline and plenty of water before training still gives me the best pumps.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
Glycerol made a bigger difference than I expected. If I'm hydrated, my pumps last way longer through the workout.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
Honestly, nothing beats a good carb meal about an hour before lifting. I get a better pump from that than adding three more ingredients to my pre.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
I've been running citrulline with a little beetroot powder lately. Arms feel like they're gonna split by the end of an upper day.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
Don't overlook hydration, buddy. Half the guys chasing a better pump are walking into the gym already dehydrated.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
Looks like I need to pay more attention to water and carbs too. I've mostly been focusing on the supplements.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
I'm keeping it simple these days citrulline, creatine, a banana before training, and I'm good to go.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
For me it's less about the stack and more about the workout. Higher reps, shorter rest periods, and controlled tempo give me the craziest pumps every time.
Re: What's Everyone Taking for a Crazy Pump These Days?
Nitrates work well for me, but I don't use them every session. I save them for arm day or shoulders when I'm chasing that extra fullness.
