Collagen Peptides - Has anyone seen *actual* joint benefits?
Another supplement question! Collagen peptides. Every brand is pushing it now, saying it rebuilds cartilage. I'm skeptical.

For those who take it, have you noticed a *real* improvement in joint clicks, pops, or soreness?

I have! I'm a long-time runner and my knees always bothered me. Started taking hydrolyzed collagen daily (about 10g) and after about 2 months, I noticed significantly less soreness after my long runs. It's not an overnight fix, you have to be consistent.

I second that. The key is taking it *with* Vitamin C, which is needed for collagen synthesis. I mix my powder with a small glass of orange juice about 30-60 mins *before* my workout. There's research to support that timing, helps deliver it to the joints.

I just make a big batch of bone broth every week. Same stuff, just more natural. My elbows feel better since I started.

Wow, okay, that's more positive than I expected. The tip about taking it with Vit C *before* a workout is gold. Thanks, NaturalNate! I'll give it a try.
