I can drag myself to the gym even on the days I’m tired as hell, but getting all my food in is a whole different battle.
By the last meal I’m already over chewing. What are you guys doing when you need the calories but don’t feel like eating another damn plate?
Eating is definitely the harder part for me. By meal four I’m looking at the plate like it personally offended me.NormanSC77 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2026 7:22 pm I can drag myself to the gym even on the days I’m tired as hell, but getting all my food in is a whole different battle.By the last meal I’m already over chewing. Liquid calories helped me a ton. A shake goes down way easier when I’m already stuffed from actual food.
I started making my meals a little smaller and spreading them out more. Trying to crush two massive meals at the end of the day was making me hate the whole bulk.
That’s basically my problem.
I’m fine early in the day, then I realize I’ve got a ton of calories left and suddenly eating feels like another workout.
Honestly, meal prep made the biggest difference for me. If the food is already sitting there ready to go, I’m way less likely to skip a meal just because I’m not hungry.
I’ve found that making the food more calorie-dense helps. Adding stuff like rice, nut butter, olive oil, etc. means I don’t need some giant mountain of food every night.
Same struggle here. Some days I can eat everything in sight, other days I’m forcing down the last meal while questioning every life decision.
Yeah, I think I need to stop trying to make every meal huge. Smaller meals + something easy to drink sounds a lot more realistic. Getting the calories in consistently is the goal, not winning some eating contest.
