Beyond macros and calories, mindful eating is often cited as a key to sustainable fat loss. How do you incorporate mindful eating practices into your routine? Any specific techniques or strategies you find effective?

I try to eat slowly and truly savor each bite. Putting my fork down between bites helps. Also, eating without distractions like TV or phone is huge.

Checking in with my hunger and fullness cues before and during a meal is my main strategy. Asking myself, "Am I truly hungry, or just bored/stressed?" makes a big difference.

Pre-portioning snacks is a lifesaver for me. It stops me from mindlessly eating straight from the bag. And I try to drink a glass of water before every meal.

For me, it's about recognizing emotional eating. If I'm reaching for food out of habit or boredom, I try to find a non-food activity to redirect myself.

It really makes a difference. You actually taste your food more! It forces you to slow down.

Another one: sitting at a table to eat. No standing up and eating over the sink!
