Branched-Chain Amino Acids (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) are essential, but their supplemental role is debated.
They stimulate muscle protein synthesis and may reduce muscle soreness. However, if you consume enough protein through your diet (especially whey, which is rich in BCAAs), supplemental BCAAs likely offer minimal additional benefit. They might be useful for fasted training or those with very low protein intake.

Do you take BCAAs, and why?"Whole foods and sufficient protein often negate the need for isolated BCAAs."
