Overtraining is a real risk for dedicated endurance athletes.
Symptoms can include:
  • Persistent fatigue and decreased performance.
  • Increased resting heart rate.
  • Sleep disturbances, irritability, and mood swings.
  • Frequent illness or injury.
Prevention is key: structured rest, deloads, good nutrition, and listening to your body.
