Did You End Up Choosing a Cruise Over PCT?

When you first started, were you planning to run PCT after every cycle? Or did you eventually switch to cruising? Interested in hearing what influenced your decision and how your approach has changed over the years.

When I first got into this stuff, I figured PCT after every cycle was just what everyone did. My thinking changed over the years, but it really came down to my own goals and what I wanted long term.

I think a lot of guys start one way and end up changing their approach after they've been lifting for a while. Experience definitely changes your perspective.

Honestly, social media makes it seem like everybody's doing the same thing. In my gym it's all over the place. Every experienced guy has a different routine that works for him.

For me, the biggest lesson was to stop comparing my decisions to what the biggest dude online was doing. Everybody's got different priorities, different health considerations, and different goals.

That's exactly why I brought it up. Seems like there's no single path everybody follows once they've been around the sport for a while. Interesting hearing how everyone's mindset changes with experience.

The older I get, the more I think about consistency instead of chasing every extra pound on the scale. My outlook now is way different than it was when I started lifting.

I've watched buddies go in completely different directions over the years, and both are happy with their choices. I think having a plan that fits your own situation matters more than copying somebody else's.

Buddy, I think too many new guys worry about what comes after a cycle before they've even nailed the basics. Years of solid training, eating right, and recovering well still make the biggest difference in the long run.

Good thread. It's always interesting hearing from guys who've been around the game for a while. There are a lot of different experiences out there, and it's a good reminder that what makes sense for one lifter isn't automatically the best fit for someone else.
