Mastering the Squat: Form, Depth, and Progression

by PowerLifterPro » Sat Feb 01, 2025 12:00 am

The squat: King of all exercises. How do you ensure perfect form and progression?
Key elements for a strong squat:
  • Form: Bar placement, bracing, knee tracking, hip drive.
  • Depth: Crease of hip below the top of the knee for powerlifting rules.
  • Progression: Small weight increases, rep scheme variations, accessory work.
"You can't build a house without a strong foundation, and your legs are that foundation."
What's your biggest squat tip?
