Training to Failure: Benefits and Risks

by TrainTitan » Tue Jan 07, 2025 12:00 am

Should you always train to failure for maximum gains?
Training to failure can be effective for stimulating muscle growth, but it comes with caveats:
  • Increases muscle activation and metabolic stress
  • Can lead to greater central nervous system fatigue
  • Higher risk of injury if form breaks down
"Strategic failure is more effective than constant failure."
What's your approach to training to failure?
