Yeah I've used weight gainers a few times when my appetite's low and I’m struggling to hit my calorie goals. They’re solid for post-workout or when I’m too busy to prep a meal. But like you said they’re a supplement not a replacement for real food. Always focus on quality ingredients and don’t just load up on sugar. They’re a solid tool when needed but whole foods should always come first!

Weight Gainers: When and How to Use Them

Weight gainers are high-calorie supplements designed to help individuals struggling to consume enough calories for muscle gain.
They typically contain a blend of carbohydrates, protein, and fats. When to use them:
  • As a convenient way to add significant calories when whole foods aren't enough.
  • For those with very high caloric needs or low appetite.
  • As a quick post-workout meal replacement.
However, whole foods should always be prioritized. Choose gainers with quality ingredients and a good macro ratio, not just sugar. Use as a supplement to, not replacement for, real food.
"Convenience can be a tool, not a crutch."
