The black pepper tip is key, thanks! I'll look for a standardized supplement. And that "golden milk" sounds pretty good, WellnessWave!

It's a staple for me, along with fish oil. I find the combo works well. But as Nate said, it *must* have black pepper extract or it's a waste of money.

I make a "golden milk" latte at night sometimes. Warm almond milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and a crack of black pepper. Very soothing and seems to help with overall inflammation.

I take it daily. I find it's not a "painkiller" like Advil, but it reduces my *baseline* level of ache. My DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) also seems to be less severe when I'm taking it consistently.

It's legit, but you can't just eat more curry. The key is *curcumin* (the active compound) and it needs *black pepper* (piperine) to be absorbed. You need to buy a supplement that is standardized for high curcumin and includes piperine.

Turmeric / Curcumin for joint discomfort?

Heard a lot about turmeric (specifically curcumin) for its anti-inflammatory properties. Anyone use this regularly? Did it make a noticeable difference to joint aches, or is it just good for flavouring curry?
