The key is consistency with any of these practices. Even 5-10 minutes nightly makes a difference over time.

For me, yes. My mind tends to wander easily with general meditation, but the narrative of the sleep stories keeps me engaged just enough to distract me until I drift off.

I recommend **progressive muscle relaxation**. You tense and then relax different muscle groups throughout your body. It's great for releasing physical tension that can keep you awake.

I practice **diaphragmatic breathing** (belly breathing) for about 10 minutes before bed. Slow, deep breaths activate the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling to my body that it's safe to relax.

For me, it's a simple **body scan meditation**. I lie in bed and mentally scan my body, relaxing each part from my toes to my head. It helps release any lingering tension from workouts.
